Marketing consent is separate from consent required to provide tutoring services and may be withdrawn for future uses by contacting us.

Enquiries that do not result in enrolment: generally up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.

Student account, assessment and progress information: generally for the duration of the student’s relationship with Naijatutors and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally up to 3 years, unless a longer period is necessary for legal, safeguarding or dispute-resolution purposes.

Class recordings, where recordings are made: retained only for the period reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Routine recordings should be deleted when they are no longer required.

Payment, invoice, tax and accounting records: retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal requirements.

Marketing information: retained until consent is withdrawn, the person unsubscribes or the information is no longer required. We may retain limited information necessary to ensure an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.

Tutor and staff records: retained for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period reasonably necessary to meet employment, contractual, safeguarding, tax or legal requirements.

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it where reasonably practicable.

Children’s personal information will not be retained indefinitely.
