What age can my child start learning Yoruba or Igbo?
We teach children aged 4 to 16. Young children pick up sounds and words quickly, and older children can progress to reading, writing and conversation.
My child understands but won't speak. Can you help?
Yes, this is very common in diaspora families. Our tutors build confidence step by step with short, friendly speaking tasks until replying in Yoruba or Igbo feels natural.
I don't speak the language well myself. Can my child still learn?
Absolutely. Your tutor leads the learning, and we share simple ways you can encourage practice at home, even if you are learning alongside your child.
Are lessons one-to-one or in a group?
Both. One-to-one lessons give focused attention; small groups give children others to practise with. We recommend the right option after assessing your child.
Do lessons include reading and writing?
Yes. Depending on your child's level, lessons cover speaking, listening, reading and writing, along with culture, stories and proverbs.
How do I get started?
Book a consultation. We'll learn about your child, assess where they are, and recommend a plan.
